Still not three months...

Well, I am updating again and it has been less than three months. I realize that I have been neglecting my blogs, but hopefully I will do better from now on. Anywho, on to some photos and news.

Back in October, we all went to Agua Linda farms for a pumpkin festival-type thing. Lots of fun, we went on a hay ride through the pumpkin field, had some lunch, and Amy and Andy went through the petting zoo. Andy liked the goats, and pointed and them saying "dog?".

For Halloween, we went to the home of some friends, had dinner, and took Andy trick-or-treating. Andy went as a dog and had a lot of fun, for a little while. After a few houses, she was ready to be done, though.

Carving our pumpkin.

Hello?

Ready to get some candy!

Happy girl.

Some dork must have covered the flash.

Amy, Andy and I went to Utah for Thanksgiving, and had a ball. We flew in on the holiday and made it in time to have dinner with family, and the next day we went to Bear Lake to spend the weekend. We played games, decorated cookies, and played in the snow. Andy loved sleigh riding; every time we stopped she would say "more more more", and she really didn't even mind the cold.

Ready to go out!

Me with some control issues.

Tired girls. This was during a game of Pit. If you ever played Pit with my family, you would know how amazing this is.

Hi!

The Boys.

Me and my sisters.

Fun in the snow.

Andy decorated this cookie all by herself.

Amy made a Jon cookie.

Oh yeah, and we saw some moose.

Anyway, that's about it for now. Hopefully I can keep up a little better from now on. Take it easy, all.

Hooray, update!!!

If you follow my other blog, then this post will look very familiar, but it fit in both, so here it is.

Well, I am finally updating this. A lot has happened since I last updated. Andy is growing like a weed and learning something new every day. We celebrated her first birthday over Labor Day weekend, and both sets of grandparents as well as my sister Jodi and all of my nieces and nephews came into town. We had a lot of fun, and Andy loved her cake. And now, here are a whole lotta photos in no order whatsoever.

That's about all I have time for right now. I leave you with my favorite recent Andy photo. This is not staged, she did this right as I took the picture. Take it easy, all.

In the park...

Hey all, sorry for the lag. But, finally, a post.

Andy and I went to the little grassy area by our house to eat lunch and play around a bit the other day. We had a pretty good time, and Andy got to play in the grass while we enjoyed the weather.

Yesterday, Amy, Andy and I walked to the civic center for the Marana Heritage Days parade. Andy loved the tractors, and we had a really good time all around. After the parade, we walked around after the parade and saw all the little booths, the car show and all that festival type stuff.
It was lots of fun.

Waiting for the parade to start.

It got a little breezy, and Andy got goosebumps.

Well, that's really about it for now. Just a quick update for everyone. Take it easy, all.

Happy New Year!!!

Just a quick post to say Happy New Year, all. We have had some exciting times over the past little while. Amy, Andy and I all went to Utah for Christmas, so everyone got to meet Andy. It was crazy busy, but we had a really good time.

While we were there, Andy got to try rice cereal for the first time. She was not impressed. Not impressed at all.

Yummy.

Coming home was definitely an adventure. My parents drove us to the airport on some really nasty roads, and when we got there we found out that our flight was delayed. Our flight crew had gotten behind because of the weather. Well, they actually found us another flight crew and got us aboard the plane. We taxi, get deiced, taxi some more, and are finally on the runway. Off we go, hauling it down the runway, just about to lift off, and the pilot slams on the brakes. Hard. Well, back to the gate we go, a warning light came on during takeoff and so it had to be aborted. I am okay with that, I would rather we heed the warning, rather than be spread out somewhere over Provo. So, we get off the plane, and they manage to find us another one. By this time, the original flight crew has showed up, so they just get a free ride home. After that, everything went swimmingly.

To be honest, I am actually very impressed with Skywest (Delta). Even with all the problems, we were only about 3 hours late getting into Tucson. They found us another crew, and another plane, when they could have said "Sorry folks, weather sucks, plane's broken, flight's cancelled, try again tomorrow." Also, both flight crews were very friendly and apologetic. So, props to you, Skywest people.

That's about it for now, hope everyone had a happy New Year's Eve, and that you all have a great 2010.

I leave you with some photos from while we were in Utah.
