One month in...

Well, today is officially 1 month since I started staying home with Andy. We have had shots, walks, rides, a lot of bottles and a pretty good time. I have learned that she likes to sleep in the car, she loves the ceiling fan, either on or off, and she actually prefers Metallica over Mozart. But we both like us some Vivaldi. (Interesting fact, neither Mozart nor Vivaldi triggered my spell check, but Metallica did. I think blogger is biased.)

Anywho, in celebration, here are some pictures that I promised in my last post.

Sleepy, sleepy, sleepy.

Fun giraffe pajamas.

Infants unite!!! The One Baby Revolution begins now!!!
And remember, she knows her some kung-fu.

That's about it for now. Take it easy, all, and keep your eyes on f&y, more updates there soon.

The Doctor Sucks!

So, lots of things to talk about. This last weekend, Andy got to sleep in her first hotel room, and got to meet her Great-Grandpa Earl and her Great-Grandma Elaine. My dad brought my grandpa down to Yuma, then my mom and grandma came to get him, so we all took a quick trip over there to say hi. It was lots of fun, and lots of pictures git taken, which are now on a thumb drive, which is, well, still in Yuma. So, no pictures of that right now, but probably later.

Yesterday was an exciting day. Andy and I left early to go to a doctors appointment. Andy is growing like crazy, 23 1/2" long and 10 lb 2 oz. Then she had to get her shots. That was no fun. No fun at all. We pulled through it, though.

Outside of that, not a lot going on right now. No new pictures at the moment, but check back in the next day or so, and I will have some.

Anywho, that's about all for now. Take it easy, all.

Just a quick one...

Just a quick update, and some photos. Andy and I have an exciting day planned today. Amy doesn't have to go to work until 10, so we have the morning with her and we ate waffles. Well, Amy and I did anyway. After mom heads off, Andy and I are going to start getting things together to go to Wellton this weekend, so she can meet her great-grandpa Earl and great-grandma Elaine, and see my parents again. Then we are going to go and get a car wash, because with all the construction dust floating around here right now, my car is a fright.

Andy's reaction to seeing my car.

Other than that, it will be the normal day of feeding, diaper changing, and forcing her to listen to my feeble attempts at playing the guitar. It is kind of nice to have a captive audience that can't talk, though.

Little bit of bed head

Anywho, that's about all for now. Take it easy, all.

Halloween!!!

Happy day after Halloween, everyone! We actually had a pretty good one here, except Amy had to work in the morning. But, that's ok. We got Andy dressed up and went to visit Amy's Grandma and Aunt to show her off, and that was lots of fun. After that we came home, had some dinner, and handed out candy. We only got about 20 trick-or-treaters, but it could be because we got home kind of late.

Andy in her costume after we got home.

She was pretty much Halloweened out.

Things got better once we got her changed and she could hang out with Mom while Dad made dinner.

That's about it for now, hope everyone had a good Halloween.

Take it easy, all.

On smiles and such...

Well, Andy has kind of figured out how to smile. We haven't quite figured out what makes her do it, but it is best to try early in the morning. Sometimes, it doesn't matter what you do or say to her, she just looks at you like you are an idiot. But it is all worth the effort when she does.

An example from this morning.

Also, we found out last night that she hates the smoke alarm. A lot. Really hates it. Especially the second time.

Her Halloween costume is just about ready, just need to buy a couple of finishing touches, photos will come after the holiday.

That's really about it for now, take it easy all.

4 days in...

Well, things are going well so far. Andy and I are both still kind of figuring out some kind of schedule, but it is getting better. Actually, things are really calm right now. We were able to go out for a walk yesterday without incident, and we have only had minor diaper blowouts up to this point, so I guess it is going well. That's about all I have at this point, just a quick update of a blog. Take it easy, all.

Hello!

Kung Fu is freaking awesome. She just broke a 2 x 4 with her fist.
